The Kingdom Sawmill Company (a trading name of 247 Tree Surgery Ltd - company number SC340995) is a forestry and sawmill business based in West Fife, covering Central Scotland. We specialise in industrial site vegetation clearance and management, tree pruning and unwanted tree removal. We process the ‘waste’ from these operations into high quality timber products using the latest environmentally friendly techniques and packaging. We endeavour to continually improve our environmental performance and use the very maximum possible of the timber our operations generate.
We cut most of our materials ourselves but also buy tree surgery waste from qualified, responsible local tree surgeons. We then process and kiln our own firewood, cooking logs, sawn timber and charcoal for sale in the local area. As far as possible we buy all our supplies locally and use local small suppliers for all the services we require. Our sawmill and firewood drying services are open for use by both private individuals and local companies.

Our Products are different
The products we make are dictated by the size and species of the timber we happen to get in, it's difficult for small scale sawmills to buy lots of standing forest trees, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on our shop for some interesting stuff.
We cut boards, beams and posts from durable species such as Oak, Robinia, Cedar and Larch. Species such as Cherry and Eucalyptus make excellent natural barbecue charcoal.
Lime is favoured by wood carvers and spalted Beech or burr Elm by wood turners.
Ash, Oak and Beech are the best hardwood firewood, because we produce it ourselves we offer a range of selected mixes or species specific firewood and cooking logs. We never lose a customer once they have tried our firewood.
Anything we can’t make into something useful for a customer is used as the fuel for heating two of our four different kilns for products that need to have a specific moisture content. (The other two are efficiently electric powered, we don’t use any fossil fuels for drying and are working towards removing it from processing and delivery).
