Our kindling goes through two kiln cycles to ensure it is extremely dry. It is great for various indoor and outdoor burning purposes. Obviously its main purpose is for the easy starting of a fire in your wood burner or open fire but you can even use it for some smaller cooking appliances like a little BioLite camping stove but for all other types of cooking you should check out our pizza oven hardwood logs.
We have a kindling machine for the intentionally processed kindling logs (uniform 120 - 160mm) but we really do prepare a lot of the kindling with an axe! This is to use the thin logs that don't make the grade for firewood logs.
The benefit of this is zero waste and you get a range of sizes which is the best kindling you can get. Anything too small for kindling goes in the kiln fuel or briquette machine.

Deliveries
If delivery is an option then normally it is completed within 48 hours but if you are near Dunfermline and need a delivery more urgently we can normally accommodate you, we look after our regulars.
Visiting us
To visit the sawmill or warehouse please contact us to make an appointment, we are in Comrie to the West of Dunfermline in Fife. We have much more in stock than you see on the website.
