Mobile firewood processor hire
We provide a mobile firewood processor service for you to hire out capable of processing hundreds of tons per week of neatly cut and split firewood.
If you have a stack of logs we can move, cut and split them ready for stacking and drying. We cover East central Scotland with our high capacity Uniforest Titan 40/20 firewood processor, log lifter, log deck and loader. The 40/20 is our largest processor, it is equipped with splitting knives up to 12 way, a slewing 5 metre conveyor and a 1 metre circular saw blade which produces a lot less mess than a chainsaw and provides a much neater cut.
We can cut logs from 25cm in length for log burners and up to 60cm long for biomass.
Our main processor will take logs up to 40cm in diameter (16 inches). For oversize logs we can supply a cone splitter for full lengths or a loader mounted splitter for shorter pieces. Alternatively we will either buy oversize or they can be transferred to our yard for milling on our Woodmizer LT40 sawmill if you want to keep the boards.
Our other equipment, such as small and large log splitters etc are also available at an hourly rate (varies by machine required) so we can do anything from multiple artic loads or small domestic jobs.
